These caliper pistons for E30 325e/325i rear calipers are an excellent addition to your caliper rebuild. Brake fluid absorbs moisture, which sits against your steel calipers and original pistons. It's quite common to find rust inside the caliper bores. Often it's the rust that binds or freezes a caliper, requiring a piston and seal replacement. Your caliper may only need a good scrubbing to be returned to service. These are a direct replacement for the stock pistons in your Ate caliper.
